  outlet not controlled by a switch, using supplied
  7-foot (2.1 meter) cords

● For proper ventilation and easy replacement of
  modules, provide the following maximum clearance
  around the control units:

       Communications System processor module:

   ● Standard phone: 1 IROB protector plus
     1 carbon block protector
● Installation of a contact closure adjunct controlled
  device outside the building requires a surge protector
  to protect the control unit from electrical surges.
